In Genesis Chapter 41 verses 1-32, the King had a dream but it was only Joseph who could have interpreted it. When Joseph gave him the interpretation of the dream he never cast Joseph aside and placed someone else to deal with what was about to happen in Egypt; the fulfillment of the dream. Pharoah was a wise man and a great leader because he never looked at Joseph’s position at the time as he was in prison when he was called to interpret the dream. Out of all the leaders in Egypt, he saw Joseph to be the only one to bring deliverance. So he took Joseph out of prison and placed him in the highest position in Egypt and told him it is only in the throne that I am mightier than you and Joseph went on to save Egypt and his family from famine. When situations arise and people give us solutions, many times we take these solutions, cast the people aside and put into position family and friends to implement these solutions. And even though they have the solutions to the situation because they are not called to deal with the situation, they go about implementing the solutions wrongly, creating greater situations. They are not the ones called to deal with the task at hand. So in life, we need wise leaders to put people in positions to deal with situations not because of friendships, family ties or qualifications but because they are called to bring and implement solutions to situations.
