Wisdom Bytes: The content of a dream
Short wisdom bytes video.
We need to understand that in dreams God communicates with man. Dreams when understood could bring deliverance and expose to us the intents of people’s hearts. In Genesis Chapter 37 verse 5 to 11 Joseph had a dream and when his father and his brothers heard the content of the dream, his father rebuked him and his brothers despised him. And because of the content of the dream they cast him into a pit and sold him to the merchant men who brought him into Egypt. When Joseph was brought into Egypt he was sold to Potiphar, Captain of the Pharoah’s Guards. Then, he was accused of assault and sent to prison. It came to pass in Genesis Chapter 41 verse one, Pharoah had a dream and no one could interpret it until Joseph, was called out of prison. Joseph instructed Pharoah on how to save the land of Egypt. In Genesis Chapter 41 verses 42 to 45 Pharoah exalted Joseph. So we need to understand that the content of Joseph’s dream, placed Joseph into a pit and the interpretation of Pharoah’s dream exalted Joseph and placed him into one of the highest positions in Egypt, where he was able to save both Egypt and his family. Therefore the content of both dreams fulfilled Joseph's purpose in life. The content and correct interpretation of our dreams is important to our lives.
