Wisdom Bytes: Immaturity

In Genesis Chapter 2 verse 7 God formed man, made him a mature individual and gave him purpose and responsibility. In Genesis Chapter 2 verse 18 God said that it was not good for man to be alone, and so he decided to make a helpmate for him. A helpmate describes someone with purpose and responsibilities. In Genesis Chapter 2 verse 22 God made woman as a mature person. The woman became a wife and the man became a husband because they were both mature individuals. Genesis Chapter 2 verse 25 shows the woman being a wife and Genesis Chapter 3 verse 6 shows the man being a husband. So we realize both the man and the woman were married and they became husband and wife. When problems arise in the marriage it all stems from a level of immaturity because we are still learning and growing in our lives and in our marriages, some of us are still trying to find our roles as a man or a husband or as a woman and wife, when our behavior mirrors that of boys and girls. So when a boy has become a husband before he becomes a man, the marriage suffers and when a girl has become a wife before she has become a woman, the marriage suffers, because of immaturity. And so we need to get knowledge to help us grow and combat immaturity in our lives and in our marriages.
